The Opportunity: Sales Associate
Buymore is growing and we are growing fast! We are looking to recruit a smart, creative and highly talented individual to bring in strategies and execution that will see us acquire more customers to adopt our product.

Roles & Responsibilities
We are looking to hire a sales associate who will be charged with selling digital products to merchants (beauty stores, liquor stores, restaurants, supermarkets etc)
The successful candidate will be responsible for executing the following tasks (amongst others):
- Generate leads by identifying potential merchants across Nairobi who can adopt our digital products
- Research on leads and understand their pain points, needs and requirements and after that propose suitable solutions from the company’s suite of products.
- Cold-call leads and convince the person answering to book meetings with business owners.
- Present and demonstrate our products and services to prospective clients through sales presentations, demo events, trade exhibitions and any other medium as provided for and advised by the company
- Negotiate contract terms and close sales.
- Promote and market the Buymore brand
- Review and track sales performance in line with set performance targets and take corrective action where necessary to meet assigned targets.
- Report on your sales activities regularly and in a timely fashion (daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly) to your direct supervisor.
Requirements
In this role, you will be expected to work with and meet monthly sales targets. The best candidates for the job should have the following:

- Excellent communication skills
- Written (English)
- Verbal (English & Swahili)
- Strong problem solving skills
- ie analyze situations and understand what the problem is and quickly develop solutions to mitigate and/or solve the problem.
- Good relationship building skills
- A people person who can inspire trust
- Able to get on with people and build a relationship.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Ability to function and deliver under pressure.
- Effective organizational and time management skills.
- Quick learner who is able to pick up new technology concepts quickly.
- Excellent communication skills
- Qualifications & Experience
- A diploma in any business related field.
- Experience with sales management tools.
- At least 3 years experience in sales.
- Experience of having sold digital products will be considered an advantage.
